Important updates and changes to the Nursery

It is with pleasure we express our deepest gratitude and heartfelt congratulations to Sarah, Karen and Amy on reaching the remarkable milestone of over 25 years of dedicated service to The Links Daycare Centre Ltd.

Their unwavering commitment, warmth, and professionalism over the years have made a lasting impact - not only on the children in their care but also on their families, your colleagues, and the wider community. It takes a special kind of person to devote themselves so wholeheartedly to supporting the growth and development of the business for the benefit of the community, and they have done so with grace, compassion, and excellence every single day.

Throughout their time here, they have led the team with support, wisdom, and encouragement, consistently going above and beyond in their role. Their positive influence and nurturing presence have helped to shape a generation of children and staff, and their legacy is one to be truly proud of.

We are so grateful to have had the privilege of working with them and witnessing the care, dedication, and joy they bring to their work. Thank you for your continued service, your kindness, and for being such an integral part of the setting's journey.

25 Years of Dedicated Service:

A Note from Sarah:

Dear Parents / Carers,

I am writing to inform you that after nearly 40 years in Early Years, 25 of them here at Links, I will be taking early retirement in December at the end of this Autumn Term.

It has been my absolute privilege and a honour to lead and manage Links supported by an amazing and dedicated team of Practitioners, Management and Directors. The team day in and day out provide outstanding education and care for all the children who attend.

What does that mean for Links?

We have been extremely lucky and recruited an amazing fulltime manager who is local, knows Links, passionate about Early Years and most importantly values and shares the same ethos as we have here at Links.

Rachel joins us this week which allows a term in which to ensure the transition from one Manager to another is as successful and as smooth as can be. She has the full support and experience of a team around her, and I know Links will continue to grow from strength to strength.

I have so many happy memories of my time at Links and there are a lot of mixed emotions as I begin my last term, but I am in a very fortunate position to take this opportunity, and I look forward to the future.

I am staying on as a Voluntary Director for Links so will still be there in the background from January.

I want to personally thank each and every family that has passed through the Links Doors for these 25 years, it has truly been a honour.
