Our Nursery

Links is a very friendly, four times Ofsted ‘OUTSTANDING’ childcare facility, located on the site of Nathaniel Newton Infant School, Hartshill.

All children are unique and constantly learning to be resilient, accomplished, confident and self- assured. They learn these skills through playing and exploring, active learning and creating and thinking critically, all promoted by the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

We take children from the age of two until school age, either fee paying or funded. A range of sessions are available depending on individual requirements.

Our Staff

Links experiences very low staff turnover, which gives families continuity with their childcare.

All staff are qualified to at least the minimum required qualification and the majority are more highly qualified.

All of our staff are recruited using Warwickshire Safeguarding Children’s Board Safer Recruitment Procedures. A DBS and up to date references are always completed prior to the staff member beginning their employment at The Links Daycare Centre Ltd. Annual checks are also completed to ensure the information held is as current as possible.

All staff undergo a thorough induction prior to commencing employment.

Links as an employer is committed to encouraging and supporting both Personal and Professional Development of their staff.

We are a Private Company, Limited by Guarantee, which means any profit made by the Company is invested back into the Company.

Safe and secure facilities

Links moved into brand new, purposely designed buildings in September 2015.
The premises are of modular construction, designed to create a safe and stimulating environment for all users.

The main entrance has an enhanced security system, which controls everyone’s entry and exit to the premises.

There are three rooms in which the children explore and learn and an outside, secure, undercover area.

Safety of the children is of paramount importance to Links and procedures are always being evaluated to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
